Suicidal tendencies, lack of self-worth and relationship problems
In this conversation Foad talks with Tom about his suicidal tendencies and the problems he has in the relationship with his girlfriend. It is a rather personal conversation but maybe it is useful to other people so Foad and Tom decided to share it. They start out talking about a recent posting by Tom's wife regarding "5 things to quit right now" and that Foad was in a very bad place a few days ago seriously considering suicide but that he is also aware that it is not a real solution for the issues he is facing. Around 11:40 Foad shares the nature of the rather unique relationship he has with his girlfriend and the role his Muslim background plays regarding his relationship problems. Tom thinks that one of the underlying issues is a lack of self-worth and that his childhood and the early death of Foad's mother might play a role as well. The video quality is not perfect but this conversation was initially intended as private and we didn't worry about using the usual high video resolution for it.
